I promised I'd be back with more about Floriori, my newest collection for Moda — and this time I come bearing gifts!

But first — a personal highlight I’ve been eager to share. After sixteen joyful years designing with Moda Fabrics, I was invited to be on the cover of their new catalog! It's a milestone I couldn't have imagined when this journey began, and one that wouldn't mean nearly as much without you — the quilters and makers who bring these fabrics to life. Your creativity, your projects, your generosity in sharing it all with me — that's what this is really about. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🌸

Some more eye candy for you! The palette moves from rose pinks and soft sage greens to a lovely teal, with a moody, romantic plum. I made a shirt using one of the green florals. I don’t often sew apparel, but this one turned out well enough that I actually wear it in public. More on that in a future newsletter!

New Quilt Patterns

Some of you may already know my Birds + Blooms quilt pattern featuring Bella Solids. I’m excited to share that this Floriori version will be offered as a kit! 🍓 Berry Patch is the second pattern, using a layer cake plus background fabric. I made the strawberries extra ripe to show off the prints — because who can ever have enough strawberry quilts? I'll keep you posted when Berry Patch lands in the shop.

Sewing Room Blooms

To celebrate the debut of Floriori, I'm sharing this free pattern I made called Sewing Room Blooms — a little gift to you! Fair warning: these little fabric flower bowls are completely addictive and a great way to use up scraps. It starts with one, then another, and before long your entire sewing space is in full bloom.
