Block 9 ‘Cross My Mind’

Hello friends and fellow Block Heads! Welcome back for Block 9 thanks to Brigitte Heitland of Zen Chic. I really love the simplicity of this block and all the possibilities it has to offer. I’ve been seeing so many people on the Blockheads Facebook page who have used striped fabrics in such clever ways, I had to try it myself! Nothing revolutionary here, but I love how the colors of this block are more tonal than the others. It both recedes and radiates at the same time. I also like how the blank center square actually draws your eye to it when it’s positioned in the center of all the blocks so far. Interesting!
